A gorgeous hand woven silk Ikat scarf from India with intense light-reflecting colour.

The process of Ikat, involves tying and dying of the warp or weft threads, prior to the weaving of the fabric. In some fabrics the warp and the weft threads are tye-dyed. While weaving the fabric care is taken to match the patterns both ways.
